Hunter Coal Festival draws near
The Hunter Coal Festival is being held on 12-29 March. An initiative of Singleton Business Chamber in partnership with the region's mining industry and community, the event is designed to bring together the industry and the communities of the Hunter Valley to celebrate and recognise the contribution that the mining industry makes to our region, our state and our country.
It will incorporate a wide-ranging program of community and industry events, including a street parade, industry trade show, school debating competitions, various sporting events and functions, concerts, mine site tours, a race day and fine dining events.
The Hunter Coal Festival will be centred around Singleton and Muswellbrook but also include a number of major events in Newcastle.
Further information and a list of planned events is available at www.huntercoalfestival.com.au
