Newcastle law firm finalist in Australasian awards
The Australasian Law Awards recognises exceptional law firms with less than 100 lawyers who have demonstrated superior legal expertise and excellence in client service. Finalists are selected from hundreds of firms from across Australia and New Zealand and this year Newcastle based law firm, Nexus Law Group, has been selected as a finalist for the 2015 Boutique Law Firm of the Year Award.
Nexus was also named on the Lexis Nexis-Janders Dean Innovation Index last October and in the last 12 months has expanded into Sydney and Queensland. Marcus McCarthy, founder of Nexus Law Group, says it's the innovative structure employed by the Novocastrian firm that is driving its national growth. He also said the accolade is good news for the Hunter legal industry. “It is great to see a firm that started life in Newcastle being recognised alongside some of Australia’s oldest and best known legal players.” The winners of the Australasian Law Awards will be announced at a ceremony at the Shangri La Hotel, Sydney on 21st May, 2015.
