Matt Nelson is the new commercial agent specialising in sales and leasing for industrial and commercial enterprise within the Newcastle area. Having previously been in residential sales over the last 12 years, Matt brings his wealth of knowledge into the commercial sector and is excited about the opportunities the commercial market has for his clients. Having a proven track record in real estate, he will relish the commitment that he will continue to provide to his community.
O’Sullivan Saddington Clarkson has expanded its experienced team with the announcement of Matthew Clarkson as Partner. Matthew brings more than 19 years of experience in commercial, estate, tax and property law to the firm, which has been providing expert legal services to the Hunter community for more than 35 years. With the new appointment, the firm, formerly known as O’Sullivan Saddington Solicitor, will continue to serve the region, but under the new trading name of O’Sullivan Saddington Clarkson Lawyers.
Keystone Lawyers has appointed Megan Grainger as Associate Counsell. Megan will head up the Commercial Law division. She has degrees in law and mathematics and more than 10 years’ experience in firms in other parts of NSW. Megan has also been a policy adviser to a local Council and a Federal MP and comes to Keystone from the University of Newcastle where she was Associate Director Governance Advisory Services. She was the Chair of the NSW Right to Information & Privacy Practitioners Network.
Kari Armitage has been appointed as Vice Chair of HunterNet. Kari is the Managing Director of Quarry Mining and is recognised as one of the most successful leaders in the Hunter region. Under Kari’s leadership, Quarry Mining has become a leading manufacturer, employing more than 40 tradespersons, technical representatives, operations and support staff across workshops and offices in Newcastle, Sydney and Mackay. Kari also supports a number of local community projects and charities.
John Waples has joined Advanced Communications Australia as their Sales Solution Professional. John has a broad knowledge of customer service and has over a decade of experience in the telecommunications industry. John can assist with checking existing telephone/data plans along with offering advice for new telephone systems.
PRDnationwide Newcastle & Lake Macquarie has welcomed husband and wife team, Paula and Paul Ashcroft, to its Lake Macquarie Office. The couple always work as a team and have 50 years industry experience between them. They sold their successful New England real estate business to make the sea change to the Hunter for a new opportunity and to be closer to family.
