Maitland Taste pairs with the Mutual Bank for delectable three day feast
If you hunger for delicious dishes, aromatic wines and the freshest farm to table produce from the Hunter Valley and surrounds, look no further than Maitland Taste, a three day celebration of great food, great wine and great vibes.
For 2022, Maitland Taste returns to Maitland from 20 to 22 May, alongside its new presenting partner, The Mutual Bank, with an exciting program of food, wine and produce. By day, visitors can discover fresh produce and artisan stalls, demonstrations and loads of kid’s activities.
By night, explore pop up eateries, hidden laneway bars, lighting installations and live music. The Mutual Bank Chief Executive Officer Geoff Seccombe says the Maitland based bank is ‘proud to be part of this local community event.
'Maitland Taste is really putting the best of the Hunter Valley’s produce on show and spotlighting the importance of sustainability and it’s all right here in our own backyard.
'The Mutual Bank is excited to be partnering in an event which offers fun for all ages over three days and supports local producers and local business.’
The Levee will again be the heart of Taste, but visitors will also be treated to a range of specialty themed pop up sites across Central Maitland, with a range of unique experiences ready to be served up this year.
Maitland City Council Coordinator City Events and Activation Adam Franks says ‘from market gardens to dairy farms, Maitland has a growing reputation for its local produce and its lively restaurant scene.
‘Maitland Taste looks to celebrate all the flavours that make up Maitland across three days of events, demos and pop ups.’
