Macquarie Tower development launched for Charlestown

GWH has launched their latest commercial development, Macquarie Tower, to be located in the centre of Charlestown.
Offering expansive and views across the Pacific Ocean and to the mountains, Macquarie Tower will consist of over 6,000 sqm of commercial and retail space.
Encompassing a complete suite of end-of-trip facilities, not yet available as complete offer across the region with components such as showers and change facilities with towel service, secure bike storage and repair stations, car share facility and wellness initiatives. The ground floor retail includes a café with adjoining external leisure and seating area, whilst also on site is a childcare facility with secure parking and building manager.
GWH is targeting a 4.5 star NABERS rating and will incorporate a Building Management System designed to create a smart ecosystem that supports sustainability and wellness initiatives.
Jonathan Craig, GWH Managing Director said that “GWH identified that tenants looking for modern commercial spaces in Lake Macquarie, did not have an option that included the level of sophistication that modern state of the art buildings in our capital cities offer.”
“Macquarie Tower incorporates end of trip facilities, building services and integrated partnerships with retail, food and beverage and childcare unlike any other in the greater Newcastle region,” said Jonathan.
Macquarie Tower has also been designed to Australian Standards for accessibility and complements the intentions of local and state Disability Inclusion Action Plans. The work spaces within have been designed to support agile work environments, optimising the use of space, increasing employee satisfaction,
productivity and encouraging a collaborative culture.
