Local NFP selected to partner with Australia Post
Hunter based Lifestyle Solutions has been named as one of only seven not for profit organisations selected to partner with Australia Post in its national community program. Not for Profits and charities across Australia inundated Australia Post with applications in July 2013 after it offered the partnerships as part of its new Our Neighbourhood National Community Program to promote inclusion in communities, with funding of up to $500,000 per year. After the close of applications, Australia Post said it had received 627 applications,
describing the response as ‘overwhelmingly positive’. The unique partnership between Australia Post and Lifestyle Solutions will promote a more inclusive community and workplace by providing a community participation, employment and work experience program for people living with disability in up to 18 communities across Australia.
