HVRF CEO to retire
Dr Wej Paradice, Chief Executive of the Hunter Valley Research Foundation (HVRF), has announced plans to retire in the second half of this year after more than 30 years of service.
“I have overseen many changes and significant expansion of the Foundation during the past three decades,” Dr Paradice said. “After 30 years with the Foundation and having turned 60 this year, it is now an appropriate time to hand over to the next generation of researchers.”
The HVRF Board of Directors is currently seeking a successor to the CEO position. They are seeking a person who has the vision and energy to lead the organisation into its next stage of development. This person needs a deep knowledge of the Hunter, an understanding and appreciation of the importance of high quality research in a regional and community context, a vision for the future of the HVRF, a commitment to community service, and strong management and leadership skills.
