Event funding for NSW Small Business Month 2022
Organisations participating in next year’s NSW Small Business Month can access $640,000 in funding support to host an event.
Running from 1-31 March 2022, the event is aimed at helping small businesses bounce back from the pandemic and an opportunity for organisations to host events that generate new ideas and for people to connect with fellow entrepreneurs.
The events must follow the relevant NSW Health advice, as well as
- having a COVID-safety plan
- registering all attendees
- limits to the number of people in the venue, and
- ensuring all attendees are seated as is required at all events.
Minister for Small Business Damien Tudehope said Small Business Month was a unique opportunity to help the state’s small business owners by offering events that teach them new skills and inspire them with new ideas.
“The theme of this Small Business Month is `Rebuild, Recharge, Renew’, which reflects the Government’s determination to help small businesses recover and build a brighter, stronger future. Mr Tudehope said.
“The skills, resilience and ambition of NSW small businesses are vital to our economy and our communities.”
Funding applications open from 1 November and close 10 December 2021.
