Council grant applications open now to place makers and sporting clubs
Do you have a great idea to improve your park or street but need a few dollars to kick things along? Are you part of a sporting club or association that could use some funding to spruce up the facilities?
Apply now for financial support through Newcastle City Council and you may be able to bring those ideas to fruition! Two Council grant programs are currently open for applications.
The Make Your Place program provides grants to improve the spaces in which Novocastrians live, work, recreate or run a business. Applications for the current round of funding close Monday 10 August 2015 at 5pm.
The Recreation Facilities Program provides funding to sporting groups in the Newcastle local government area to assist with minor capital works projects. Applications close Friday 28 August 2015 at 5pm.
