SLR Senior Consultant Florence Mananyu in the new laboratory
Environmental consultancy SLR has consolidated its Newcastle East and Newcastle West offices and moved into new premises in New Lambton. The new office includes a purpose built, state of the art laboratory which is NATA accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 for asbestos fibre counting and air volume measurements for tests under 7.82.01. The new facilities have been particularly welcomed by SLR’s local Hazardous Materials team, which conducts regular airborne monitoring; visual clearance inspections; surveys and management plans; dust, diesel particulates, abrasive blasting and VOC monitoring; and indoor air quality site assessments. SLR’s Australasian operation now has 200 employees across twelve offices, all focused on delivering high quality specialist environmental services to the energy, mining, industrial, waste management, infrastructure and planning and development sectors.
