Get Smart Promo Representatives at the APPA Awards
Get Smart Promo, a locally based Promotional Products and Branded Merchandise specialist, cleaned up with three awards at the Australasian Promotional Products Association (APPA) Awards ceremony and gala dinner held at the Waterview in Bicentennial Park, Sydney in front of 350 of the promotional product industry’s elite.
With their state-ofthe- art new premises in Nelson Bay, they have expanded their team and warehousing facilities to support their continued growth.
Michelle Ford, General Manager said “Starting from very humble beginnings to now employing over 22 staff and next year celebrating 20 years in business, I’m very proud of our team.
They are passionate and creative and their number one focus is delighting our clients, finding the right merchandise solutions to meet their business objectives”.
“Taking out the Gold Award in Product Innovation and Design and the Platinum Award for Overall Excellence reaffirms our team’s creativity and ability to take a client’s brief from concept to final product including designing, sourcing and logistics”, said Karen Thomas, Operations Manager.
An exquisite Australian Sea Turtle embedded with Black Australian Opals from Lightning Ridge in elegant packaging was designed by Get Smart to support the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner’s (RACGP) bid to host the 2022 World WONCA Conference in Sydney. This project was successful and genuinely confirms Get Smart’s ability to go above and beyond, winning them the APPA 2019 Product Innovation and Design Award.
“We invest heavily in technology to deliver innovative tools and solutions to our clients nationally. With our own internal software development team, we are very agile in customising our solutions to meet our client's unique requirements enabling us to successfully win various major client bids in 2018-19”, said David Stringer, IT Solutions Manager.
