Glendale Centre to get $45 million upgrade
Plans have been lodged with the Lake Macquarie Council and the Joint Regional Planning Council for a $45 million upgrade of Stockland’s Glendale Shopping Centre. The upgrade will include 40 new speciality shops, restaurants and parking. Huw Evans, Development Manager, said a major component of the upgrades will be a dining precinct linking the existing shopping complex with the cinema. He also said that the transport interchange will improve traffic flow around the shopping centre, creating easier access for shoppers coming to the centre from the east as they will be able to avoid the Main Road and Lake Road roundabouts.
