Conference to highlight defence opportunities in the Hunter
The 2014 Hunter Defence Conference, to be held at the Fort Scratchley Function Centre on 21-22 May, will be an excellent opportunity for the defence industry, and in particular SMEs, to hear about the New Air Combat Capability (NACC) aircraft (F-35).
In addition, attendees will receive updates on current and future land and maritime projects, other regional activities, innovation and business improvement workshops. The forum is supported by NSW Trade & Investment, the Hunter Business Chamber and RDA – Hunter. It follows on from the success of the two previous years and will this time be part of the Hunter Innovation Forum (see more details in May HBR).
The conference will include presentations from a range of high quality speakers from the public sector, private sector, universities and professional organisations.
It will be of particular value to anyone who currently services the defence industry or is interested in the future opportunities for both individual organisations and the Hunter as a whole.
