$10 million Harris Farm Markets development for Cooks Hill
The $10 million Harris Farm Markets development at 227 Darby Street, Cooks Hill is due for completion in August 2018.
Three stage construction/contracts were competitively tendered with all being awarded to local construction company Collaborative Construction Solutions.
The site is approximately 4800 sqm and the project includes the refurbishment of two current buildings.
The first building of 1474 sqm will become the new Harris Farm Market. The refurbishment includes construction of a new 90 sqm meat and dairy cool room, a mezzanine bakery and a Harris Farm Markets Café.
The second building (958 sqm) is being refurbished to allow for an additional four tenant spaces plus amenities.
The project also includes:
• construction of a new 62 car park including new onsite stormwater detention and filtration system
• upgrade and construction of new onsite substation to power the total site
• new street facade upgrade including pedestrian path and kerb and gutter works
